Auld Lang Syne Hey everyone, since most of you probably have your Christmas tunes worked out, i've tabbed Auld Lang Syne on my blog (Chords, Lyrics, melody) all in C.
It's an easy melody and really easy to jazz up if you work the chords up to 7ths. Have fun! Auld Lang Syne Like a G flat major with an E in the Bass

so do you post here to drive traffic to your blog?
I only ask because I don't see you in other forums and you barely respond to threads you start

Well slave, if I post a topic that no one responds to, do you "really" want me to "Bump" the thread to put it to the top of the list? If no one is interested in a post, why would I respond to my own post?
Second, I love prince music and consider him an inspiration, but, I grew up a long time ago. All the "what era is princes sexiest look" and the "what if prince dated Fergie?" discussions on the prince forum do not interest me. If you dig that stuff, more power to ya. Go, have fun. Finally, I thought this was an Artist Community - I think we've got some musicians on here right? Well, someone may be interested in tab or practice ideas. If I post it on a blog, what's the difference in clicking a link? Are you anti-linking? If you take a look my my postings, you'll see that I do participate in threads and offer input where I can. Again, if someone posts about making music, guitar, gear, I'm usually in. But if the thread turns to "Shout out - Merry Christmas Jill Scott fans in Detroit", i'll pass - just not interested. So, Merry Christmas, but I'm not sure why you're on my ass? Did I piss you off? [Edited 12/13/07 10:29am] Like a G flat major with an E in the Bass

[Edited 12/13/07 10:29am] I just noticed you don't post on other artists songs or post your cool findings directly into your thread and it seemed odd. The one thread about the robot guitar actually turned me on to it so I posted the youtube link directly into the thread but then never heard back. While I'm not on your ass, I'm not interested in your blog so post things directly and maybe people will respond. Why wouldn't you? Unless you're trying to drive people to your site. I'm not pissed off but I've been a part of the artist community for a number of years and when people don't comment on others music and most threads are teasers leading people to another site for no real reason, I have every right to ask the question.

If you're not interested in my posts or my blog - don't read them and don't go to the blog. No skin off my back... But if you're not interested, why the flame by accusing me of traffic trolling?... All of my posts are on topic (Org Artist community - posting about making music, tab, soloing tips, practice ideas, playing guitar) My posts are not spamming anyone (I'm not pushing viagra, cialis, or crap like that, I'm talking about making music) So, if you're the moderator, moderate as you see fit. If you're not the moderator, don't let my posts stress you. Life is too short to get all bent out of shape over nothing. Like a G flat major with an E in the Bass

I'll use that as a guide when I see your posts, not bent out of shape, not a mod, just making an observation. Now I know what you're doing around here. One more thing...
Just an observation in case you repost others content often in these forums... Double check to make sure the formatting is correct when you repost. Cutting and pasting the tab like you did, if you noticed, pushed all the chords to the first few words of each lyric. Doesn't much sound like Auld Lang Syne as you have posted. My preference is that folks who want to play this get the right tab. Just an observation. The correct version, can be found here... Like a G flat major with an E in the Bass
