Colours and dreams Shades of love i wonder what it means The impossible came and went Is anything heaven sent A girl that offered everything Blue , its reality she could nt bring I wanted purple and cream do you understand But i was met with a blue and black hand Red deceitful lust Its only purple you can trust Something with colour can confuse But a life without colour is to lose Would you stand by my side If my rainbow appeared would you hide When you get green You carry a heart that can be so mean My search for purple will always remain Sometimes i wonder is it at the expense of anothers pain Its so hard to stand in the light When darkness is all that is in sight | |
