George Clinton, Prince, Bootsy Collins, James Brown, Larry Graham, Bernie Worrell, Junie Morrison, David Byrne, Little Richard, Michael Hampton, Jam and Lewis, Michael Jackson, Roger Troutman, Jimi Hendrix, Marvin Gaye, Barry White, man, and so many groups...Pink Floyd, The Time, NPG, The Revolution, ABC, The SOS Band, Mtume, Hot Chocolate, Rick James and Stone City, Zapp, Sweat Band, Lakeside, Slave, Ohio Players, I can't even begin to name them all, but I would say the first 5 artists in that order are my favorite and I was influenced musically by them the most, and add David Byrne and the Talking Heads in there for number 6.
