New hip-hop song by me A song that I recorded about 6 months ago called "No Need For Heretics". Check it out if you get time and let me know what you all think. It is at my mp3.com site listed below in my signature.

Legit. I dug it. The synths were meshing nicely with the bass. All that I felt would make it more legit would be a key change bridge maybe??? After about 1.5 minutes. I felt like my ear needed a slight subtle change. "If you abide in my Word, then you are truly disciples of mine; and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free." John 8:31

It's really good. I like your song ideas, your instrument choice, and the way you work them together. "Smooth and chunky to boot!" Lyrics are cool. I like songs that make you think and grow. I dig that water sound you play with at the end. What you could do with a Moog synth in that song!

Thank you, Aggie & Samuel. I agree that some of the songs need some chord changes more frequently. Some of them I do it on purpose though, because as Samuel said, I like to keep people in the message, and sometimes chord changes distract. But, in alot of the songs I have been doing in the past couple months, I have been variating and putting in mid-song changes and even inserting little speeches and other cool sounds and things.

Nice sound, Dodson. I really like the synths and the new style arrangement. This is on your cd "The Test", right?
