New Music Hello, I'm a 20 yrs old guy and I've been playing for some years. And I write some music. But I record at home, without professional gear. I would like to know how can I show this to people. I know Cloud9mission has a site, but sites only let us put 11mb what is not enough. And i don't have money to pay. There's a way that I can put my mp3z on the web so people can hear and give me feedback?
Props to Cloud9mission. Is there more people here who records music at home? Show yourself. Much love to everybody.

You can set up a free site at MP3.com. It's free. My friend has a site up over there and she has 5 of her songs on it. If you want to check her out and see what her site looks like go to:
www.mp3.com/chaeya It's best to check out all of their services. You can even have them sell your CD. I really don't know all the details but Chaeya could help you out. LQ

Yep. I do. I record all from home. I don't have access to much digital equip either, mainly analog. I have my mp3's available for download on www.mp3.com/jasondodson . Me and fellow org artist, Vina Blue, are asking for a Org Musicians Forum on here, and hopefully, we plan on starting an Independent Artist Community of our own.

Your friend, Jason Dodson Hi 7salles! Jason, thanks for mentioning me, you're a sweetie. I've been recording at home, but I haven't put up a website yet. I'll probobly do the mp3.com thing, or just put real audio samples (1 minute) on my own site. Not sure yet. It will be fun to start an Indie Artist's community! We will let everyone know when that happens! [This message was edited Fri Aug 23 13:32:08 PDT 2002 by VinaBlue]

Thanx for the props dude My site costs me $11.95 per month mate, its not that expensive if you can design the site yourself as I can. mp3.com is a great substitute & Im actually using them to sell my album at the moment but its no where near as much exposure as I get from my main site. Trouble with mp3.com is that you have to register with them to download an mp3 so your only reaching half you audience (only those who can be bothered to register). Having your own server run site is definatly the best option though. Another site like mp3.com is http://www.peoplesound.co.uk , check them out too God bless Lewis
