Ok Rainbow Kids, I'm in film school and I have a script idea due TOMORROW! It's for a 5-7 minute film with NO dialogue...Only sound effects and music. The set up of the story is that a guy meets a girl at a party/bar, and loses the number she gives him after a SERIOUS night of drinking. The next day, he goes on a madcap journey to find the number. I have a case of writers block, and I can't think of any situations about him searching for the number. Any ideas?

He goes back to the bar... the slip with the number on it is still at the table where they were drinking... Someone's sitting at the table doing some paperwork or something... He puts all his papers into a bag... and the number along with it. Now this guy's bag has the number... how to get it from there?

that's great! I've already taken your idea further. What if it's a couple at the table when he returns? And he doesn't want to bother them, but can't get to them by the time they leave. So he follows them down the city streets. They turn into what appears (to him) to be a bar, but really it's a strip club...or an S/m club. And he goes through some awfully degrading situation to retreive it. He finally gets it and leaves. But as he walks out of the club, the girl he met walks by...sees him leaving this s/m club...thus ruining any chance of a date. ideas? Comments? Suggestions?

I have a good one... He searches the bar like a madman, then finally gives up and goes home. Then the next day when he goes to work, he finds out shes his new boss or something.

I think that's a cool ending... jack, I also think that your S/M club idea is cool! I'm also thinking that there could be one more humorous situation as he follows the couple from the bar to the S/M club... But I can't think of one...
