This is a listing I have been watching on ebay. Does anybody have any information on the ESP Cloud guitar? I can't find any info on line. This one that popped up on Ebay is the only one that I have seen. Any thoughts on this guitar would be welcome. Thanks

ESP is a Japanese brand - very well made guitars.
That cloud is actually a Sugizo signature model. Sugizo is the guitarist with Japanese band Luna Sea who ripped off the cloud guitar from Prince. His has a Floyd Rose () instead of the fixed bridge that Prince uses.

In case you're wondering, Luna Sea sound absolutely nothing like Prince - more like the cheesy metal you get on Anime soundtracks.

Found this page of Sugizo guitars on the ESP site. The cloud seems to be available in black or white. List price is 110,000 yen which is about US$1,270.
I'm more intrigued by the Les Paul with 3 single coils myself.

I think at this point, the cloud guitar shape isn't really PRINCE'S guitar anymore. Was it even MADE for him? I thought it was made by the company that made the funky guitar Wendy played on the Girls n Boys video, and he liked it and picked it up.

Hey - some other "know it all" notes about this guitar - it's all single coils, and P's one is a single and a hummer. Just, you know, FYI - it won't get you any closer to being Prince. Try height reduction. That'll get you there quicker.

I plan to build my own cloud if I can find some plans and advice on line. I need stencils. I also plan to but a cloud from a guy in Eroupe that builds them
