For 2006, play out more often, write new material every day, maybe finally win a guitar battle at musicianwar.com (i get smoked by the shredders every time).
I would really like to attend the NYU summer jazz program, but won't be able to pull 3 weeks off from work though.

This is weird. Last week I visited my dad in Colorado and on arrival he handed me an electric violin and a book on improvisation. Then we sat down, me on violin and him on the guitar, and we jammed. Next thing I know, the guy at the local guitar store gives me a full-fledged lesson on pentatonic scales and chord structures for improvising.
Everyone, keep talking about your dreams because miracles do happen. I'll post a pic of my new violin if I can find one. It's totally out of the ordinary that my dad would give me something like that.

My dream for 2006 is to get back into home recording after a 3 year hiatus.
Haven't had any gear for a long time due to various issues that I won't bore you with. I'm now in a position where I can put aside a little cash each month towards musical gear - guitar, bass, mixer, effects, etc. My aim is to have some demos up on the web before 2006 is out. Nothing too pie-in-the-sky - I think it can be done with a little discipline.

Still amazing to experience the results though. Maybe someday we can do a kirtan jam.
