Distant Lover Hello,
Does anybody have the chord progression to this wonderful marvin gaye song. i heard him perform a solo rendition at his piano and it moved me to tears. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks | |

B then G#m7 then C#m7 then F# should work although it is in a lower key so I can hit the notes but same chord progression as his song. The other part of the song goes Em7 then C#m7.
You should check out the alternate version which is called "In the Meantime" and is the last track on the 2nd CD of the What's Goin' On Deluxe Edition. I play it at one of my shows. The alternate version is the BOMB !!! [Edited 1/6/09 16:36pm] | |

The alternative version is just funky. It is Marvin in the studio before he came up with the lyrics to Distant Lover as we know it and he is just rolling off some ideas. It is worth downloading or buyuing the CD or however you wanna get it !
