wanna start a org "Madhouse" project....

I'm not too sure if people on here really want to get together really to join and jam randomly. Jason tried more than a few times to bring us together to work on one jam, but for some reason it didnt happen cuz no one really knew what direction to head and what beat to go in2 and how to create something out of nothing since we werent face to face.

I wanna do a Madhouse cut with u guys. What 2, 3, 4 songs somebody throw a beat up, then we, one at a time put our parts in it (just like how Prince used to send tapes back and forth to other artists) and JAM man; random instrumentals.

I don't know how this may turn out but U know what..IT NEVER HURTS TO TRY cry

So if u got time on your hands and got nuthin to do..think about it, just think about it. Tired of makin beats and having nothing to do with it anymore.

Peace, Izaiah

Participants so far (in order):

I don't have time but how long does it take to add some live drums, guitar, bass or synth to something already done? Let me know where I fit into the mix.

Long time lurker - but your thread brought me out Izaiah... Did something like this years ago on a site called GuitarWar.Com - and was amazed how tunes came together - I play guitar, bass and keys - haven't talked the wife into letting me get a drum kit yet - so not much in that area wink

I'm up for it if a long time newbie can join in ...

hey, i haven't been around here in a while,
happened to pop in & saw this very cool thread.
I would absolutely love to participate.
The only problem for me at the moment is that
all my recording gear has crapped out!
I am "in the process" of getting a new
minidisc recorder & cd burner off of ebay.
This should take me a couple of weeks and
then i would be equiped once again to
record and upload music

I wish everyone here had an apple. All models come with Garage Band. That way we could pass that file around like Trent Reznor did a little while back. Not really a fan and that program has it's limitations, but that was a great idea.

What recording format to use..I dont care what u guys use to record, but as long as the fisrt thing is a drum beat. Every song is basically based one a beat so that's most important.

Whomever makes the next move on top of that drum beat plays into the song..then third and on and on.

I am going to go ahead and create a soundclick page for us.

What should we name this?

Man, i was very far from music, i was unemployed with very little money, so i sold my keyboard, my guitar processor, my acoustic guitar broke, ehhe, but now i am working again and i will buy everything again. I still record songs but i will only post when i really thik it sounds good, people here turned out to be tooo professional, i dont feel well posting amateurish room-made music. I dotn post as much but i check songs from almost everybody.

O.K. so scroll down to the middle for a few different loops I've created.
The times are listed except for 1 of the loops and the live drums.
