Wrote it as a poem, but i believe its starting to sound like a song
i might alter the formation and put it through music

White Cliffs of Dover




Come and walk with me
i will tell you the tale
of a lost man and his lover
Southend by the sea
With a wind so care free
Beside the white cliffs of dover

If his life’s a whim
then hers are five petals
Of the most dulcet flower
round the spring they spin
A new life they begin
beside the white cliffs of dover

Her passionate cries
there he found his fair love
beside the light house rover
watched her body rise
Like a lunar kissed tide
Beside the white cliffs of dover

so i told the tale
behind a wheat color sky
Of a lost man and his lover
these words i Avail
into a jump near gale
off the white cliffs of dover

Eric Johnson has a song called "Cliffs of Dover" and it's great. No lyrics though, just excellent guitar. As for your work, I like it.
