Back again... Need help with new album title!

Hay all,

I'm currently finishing my 5th full-on album! This time I’m putting it out myself (no more statue-crappy-records) on my own label Be Records. The inspiration with this project is the daily grind of work and play, with a bit of smut thrown in... It's also very Prince inspired sound wise.

I’m now stuck between a few titles:

1. Tied & Suited (this was the working title)
2. The Corporate Life
3. Incorporated Dreams
4. Social Climbers
5. Death of A Salesman

Which do you think sounds best? I'm struggling to make a decision?

Let's Get Back To Business.

Or maybe just Back To Business. I think it sounds reasonably smutty.

No... no... no...

I've got it...

RISKY BUSINESS

I should have listened to your music first.

It's like sex is risky these days.
It's got the word "business" in it which alludes to work.
It could be a metaphor for relationships in general.
It could also be a metaphor for prostitution - not saying that you're a pro or anything...

But most importantly, it's the title of an iconic 80s movie and now that I've heard your 80s-tinged music, I think it fits perfectly.

I like The Corporate Life if it's matched with a really ironic album cover. Corp makes me think of corporal or "of the body". So that works for me.

My second choice would be Social Climbers. I like the idea of Death of a Salesman but I'm not sure how it would help you to copy the title of one of the most famous plays in history. Maybe if you changed it slightly, it could be your own, yet still make homage (however ironic) to another famous piece of work.

I'm liking some of the ideas. I've already got a concept for the cover sorted. I'm currently fiddling around with it at the mo. Be sure to let you guys see it first.

Cheers

The title and the cover art should definitely work together, especially since all your titles have double (or triple or quadruple) meanings.

I really like Tied & Suited. It implies the Suits, but it also sounds kinky. whip

eek I like Tied & Suited. Is the theme really the daily grind of work and play? Are you open to ideas? Have fun with it and Keep it simple.

I guess you can say that you can grind when you play and grind when you work; but it is more fun when you are playing. Play on words! LOL lol
