Check out new ShCool

If you have a spare second or two go to www.soundclick.com/shcool and check out samples of my tracks. I'm not a pro musician. Been playin keys for no longer than a year.

My main influences: 80's groove, funk, R&B, soul, blues, gospel, jazz

Tell me what you think (just don't be too honest smile

Peace

nice grooves. I hear the Cameo influences. spread out the mix to make it more stereo. not bad for your first year of keyboards. very good start.

Thank man. Those tracks and my piano are still very basic. I hate the fact that I have so little time to practice - work, school etc. Maybe I had a teacher things would've happen faster. Anywayz thanks once more.

By the way, your tracks are great. Congrats

For someone owning a keyboard less than a year this is pretty impressive. You have been stuck in the same period of time and music that I have, LOL, love these synthetic grooves! I'm pretty sure you will be able to drop some real good shit when you develop your musician/ producer skills in time.

yeah I'm pretty cra-zay over that whole stuff. I like other stuff too. Blues and jazz and gospel - luve all that. My tracks sound rather plastic. It's all done on keyboard so guitars sound 'bleh' neutral . But to the point. Thanks for your feedback! I really appreciate it. To be honest I'm very much into your stuff. Many of your cuts are simply born to be hits. cool I found your site some while ago and I still revisit t every now and then. By the way - how do you record your stuff? If you have time you can mail me on rushing07@yahoo.com or s post it here.

Good luck with your music

Thanks for your kind words, I appreciate this a lot. I have just put up two new demo's, go check on them if you will.

We use a Nordlead, a Casio CZ-101 and a Roland Juno 106 synth, with the MPC as the heart of the studio. We sample most of our drum sounds from old funk records, although we have started to use fatter and more modern kickdrums recently. We also have an electric bass and an electric guitar that we use from time to time. Sometimes we use the 808 drum machine, and we have some effect modules. That's about it. It's all owned by my musical companion Ingmar.
