MY OH! FACE: new song, PARENTAL ADVISORY THE CRACKER IS AT IT AGAIN.
I'm gonna show her my OH FACE The lyrics are strong. The beat is loud. I love this shit. Honestly, I do. This song is best played loud. Tiny speakers will just not hold. Burn to a CD and play in your car. It will only sound better. The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3

Is that a Cello in the very beginning? Wait, it's feedback, no, it's the voices in my head

Nice voice thru the phone effect, I see that live with a bullhorn

I ran that vocal through an auto wah (kind of like Sly Stone on some song) and that's what makes it all grumpy sounding. I dig it. No clue how to recreate it onstage. Which - oh hey by the way - we got booked for a real show in February. So, I'll be pimping madly soon. [Edited 11/21/04 15:04pm] The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3

Yeah, I was bummed that people didn't drop on their knees and pronounce me the king of funk on this one, but hey, maybe it's cuz they've already got this song burned to CD and handed out to all their friends. I'll live. Can't make every song a hit, or whatever. The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3

Funny storyline.
One suggestion to up the attitude factor of the lyric @ 3:33. Saying "I got my hair did" is the vernacular i've heard lately. The guitar part during the verse is working like a Stax horn section. Cool tune. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

I doubt it would ever be a hit - too potty mouthed, but hey, I'll just be happy that people scream for me to play it when I play out. The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3
