What guitar amp did Prince use..

for Purple Rain? I like the sound of the distortion. He also kept it thru to Around The World In A Day. Anyone know?

In those days it was Mesa/Boogie Mk III's - Prince used two of these; one set up for clean sounds and one for dirty.
