I got "Where's My Pants? Pt. 2" reviewed on Soundclick. Here's two totally different reviews!

I don't like the vocals especially the chorus don't yodel on acoustic guitar. Ok gotta give it to you can play though the little solo is impressive. It sounds a little spanish or flamenco stylie you know????
Maybe look into a singer cause your talent is best utilized off the mic.

Well…. The title was…. Intriguing to say the least, so when I set about reviewing this song I was somewhat cautious but admittedly quite looking forward to what the song actually entailed. In opening this song had my hips moving in my chair and wanting to jump up and salsa, bar the fact that I was in fact writing a review and alone at the time.

Without the lyrics posted on your site, it was hard to hear the story, which was obviously quite important as you say it’s “the classic tale of the prostitute and the naive lover of love...” However, with this song, although I was intrigued by what you were singing, my hips were moving too much to mind to a great extent! Therefore it didn’t have a devastating effect.

The composition is exciting and original, smoothly mixing the instrumentals as to not confuse the listener. You definitely got the right mix of everything; your style is new to me, and therefore stimulating from an art perspective. Your vocals are fitting to this genre and style of music, and I am sure you thoroughly enjoyed writing and producing this song. The production quality is impressive, the editing is smooth and the microphone quality is almost at a professional standard.

Your subject matter, as I said, is intriguing, and makes me wonder if this song was written from personal experience… I won’t ask however, and just enjoy the masterpiece that you have created. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this song, my only criticism being that I could not hear the lyrics. Yet as I mentioned before, this does not distract away from the piece as a whole so I’d say keep it up and I look forward to perhaps discussing some of your subject matters!

Even when I'm trying to be mean on a review, I'll spend more energy on the actual bashing - coming up with as many ways to include their mom and some farm animals in the description of why I dislike the music.

The funny thing is they can't even seem to string a couple of good sentences together using any capitalization or punctuation. I AM an English teacher, ya know! Actually, the group/person, hick hop, wasn't real nice to most people. I really don't know where I'm yodeling (or was it the guitar that was yodeling?) at in the song...lol! Shit , to let a reviewer set you off track is just what they want. The idea,as i'm sure you know, is to prove 'em wrong!
If i have to wait 7 days to get 2 hours recording time, plus rebuild guitars people are dumb enough to throw out, coz a wire needs soldering, and a general cleanup;U can perservere with singing.You sound o.k. to me

If you can't get constructive criticism, then say "Fuck 'em" otherwise continue to do what you do.

Believe me, I'm not giving up singing - ever. I was just being sarcastic. Besides, I sing most of the songs with my band - they probably wouldn't like it if I quit. Thanks for the encouragement, though. Peace!
