I bought 2 tickets for the Thursday and Friday aftershows plus 1 ticket for the Wednesday concert and 2 tickets for the Thursday and Friday concerts. That comes to almost $600.00. I am officially nuts!  | |

If I lived in the area, or within say 5 or 6 hours even, I'd GLADLY cough up fitty squid somehow to go to the Friday night aftershow.
But I'm 12+ hours away. My car was emitting some strange white smoke last night, has 150,000 miles on it and is paid off, so if it breaks down that means another payment, not to mention the stress of trying to find a new (used, duh) from a dealer who doesn't rip me off and will work with my assy credit. And I've been sick a lot lately. Mentally and physically, baby. And I blew my wad in April. If I could go back I'd just go to the Champaign show, which was legendary in my eyes largely due to my favorite orgers being there, and then I'd sock a couple hundred away for this little "Celly" they're having. Of course, I know that's not how it works, especially in Prince's world. And I'm not railing into him or the NPGMC or whatever.
I'm just really bummed that my Prince experience is like, over. For now, anyway.

Is there any hit men in the Org? 
My boss wont give me the 18th off- I had made plans to fly home (MN) even have GREAT tickets to the concert, have friends to borrow car so I can get to PP.... AND the damn boss won't let me off- EVEN though I covered my shift- Ahhh- What I wouldn't give to see him at home!!!!!  AND now PP???? And I thought HoB was fun! Geez-
Though- I would prefer to see hit at First Ave- like the old days- wish I had been old enough back then!!!!! Though all my brothers and sisters were there!!! I am the baby- damn it why didn't my mama and pop get busy earlier-  then I could've been older and maybe seen at the ave! LOL! Argh!

im gonna b there from the uk. as of 5pm friday nite i had no plans 2 b anywhere but scotland next week. as of 5pm saturdaay nite i had tix 4 all 6 mpls shows and aftershows, flights booked, hotel booked at the c.inn, the whole caboodle. just gotta tell my boss on monday i wont b in the rest of the week
how's that 4 craziness? just don't ask how much this is going 2 cost me. i can stick most on the credit card, but i just hope i have enuff cash 2 c me thru. if i don't get rides 2 shows and paisley etc then it'll cost me a 4tune in taxis, and i don't drive so i gotta hope the nice ppl of mpls can help me get around c y'all in mpls on tuesday! | |
