NPGMC retail Euro delivery times...

What's the average delivery time on orders from the retail section if you live in the UK?

I've only bought CDs in the past from it (News etc) which was subject to the inevitable delays etc...but wondered how long it would take if I ordered some of those tour shirts?

Don't want the summer to be over by the time I receive them....especially given the UK only has nice weather for about 48-hours somewhere around the middle of July.... wink

I bought a tour book from NPGMC, and that took about 5 days to get here in the UK. Not bad.

Yeah, tax has put me off in the past.
I always buy the music but sometinmes the cost doubles with tax. So don't really think it's worth it for the clothes n stuff.

I bought something from the club on about 5 or 6 different occasions, and I've never had to pay any tax ...

I Purchased a white cloud off NPGMC about 18mths ago, when it arrived there was paint missing from both edges of the fretboard virtually it's entire length.

NPGMC paid for the return of the guitar and sent a replacement which was seized by customs as a large package had transferred from Usa-Uk, then back and back to the Uk again, Post 911 they checked the parcel and then wanted £214 pounds off me to release the guitar.

I disputed that NPGMC should pay this fee on the grounds that if a quality product was shipped in the first place no-one would have incurred such charges, they refused to pay- i refused to pay. so they had the guitar returned and I had my money back.

Besides the paint defect the guitar was great in sound and playability, i do wish that i still had a cloud but the whole experience was very offputting.
