I appologise for this question....but could someone please explain this Roadhouse Garden album. It's kinda talked about in terms of it being the mecca but I've no info on it! What's it all about?!!

I believe it is the last album by Prince with the Revolution.

Every once-in-a -while there is a teaser that it is going to get finished and released but so far, no luck.

There's a supposed song list out there; I'm sure someone here has a list.

It wasn't necessarily the 'last album'.

But certainly, Prince promoted this on the official website as an album he hoped to release in the late '90s featuring unreleased Revolution tracks including 'Roadhouse Garden', 'Splash' (subsequently released) and others.

He was apparently seeking Wendy and Lisa's input / approval at the time.

Whatever, it never happened.

But, Wendy and Lisa did say in Entertainment Weekly that they are doing an album together soon, so hopefully it will finally be Roadhouse Garden. Only joints I know from it are Roadhouse Garden, Our Destiny, Splash, and maybe Feline. Which I have heard a 30 min rehearsal of and it is hot. I hae actually heard live versions of RG and OD also, but Splash is the only actual studio version available.-kaine
