Advice for members burning a CD

Hey all,

Ive been driving myself nuts with trying to get my downloads on CD. I thought I would share how I managed to get around it.

Windows Media Player doesnt recognise any burner that is 3 years or older. If you have nero as I did, forget it! I was told that roxio easy CD creator 6 could do it. You'll find roxio on any file sharer like Kazaa, winmx etc, it works with your CD burner but doesnt seem to mind DRM bollocks.

So now, only a week later, Ive finally been able to listen to my downloads biggrin

For those people who have Windows 98SE, 2000 or ME, they will possibly already have the Roxio applet with WMP9 series, as Roxio teamed up with MS to this end 2 years ago.

Yep. I have this Roxio applet installed... but unfortunately it only burns at simple speed - unless you upgrade to the full version. confused

Anyway, it works. Also, it might be better to use a slow speed. When creating audio CDs I never use full speed because some players tend not to work with the outcome.

luv4u - what version of Nero are you using and which plugins have you added?

I'm using Nero 6.3.0.0 with the WMA plugin and it doesn't allow me to create a Audio CD with the two tracks I have downloaded from NPGMC

Okay I need some help on this topic. I have the newest version of Nero but after I've dragged the files over to actually burn a CD, it says something to the effect of not having enough licenses for the songs to burn them. How can I get rid of that? I play through all the songs before I try to burn them and I have the licenses for them... what I am doing wrong? I really appreciate anyone being able to help me on this one...
