mp3 player help

Any advice on getting the cd's onto an mp3 player?I have a rio riot and an ipod.I mainly want it on my riot.I tried and it just says something to the effect of "insufficiant permission".I can burn them and arrange them without any difficulty on the latest versions of windows media player, real player, and musicmatch. They play perfectly on all 3 players.I just can't get them onto my player.Help!!

Rip them from the cd back to your hd as mp3, then transfer. The licenses on the original WMA files don't support transfer to portable devices at the moment, but once you have made an audio cd the format is changed to a non protected one. Just rip as you would any store bought CD.
