Musicology Looking the new NPGMC design I wouldn't be surprised if Musicology isn't actually an album.
Could it be the "Sampes" set that was never release but you go to the room on the site and create your own mixes etc????? | |

If you go to the log-in screen and click on the 'Not a member? - Join now:' button, and then hover your mouse over 'Musicology' on the menu and read what comes up, it states;
The MUSICOLOGY store will have all the latest music from Prince and the NPG and members pay over 20% less than non-members PER DOWNLOAD. The more U download, the more U save. This, to me, definitely suggests that there will be a reasonable number of actual songs to download, hopefully unreleased. Can't wait for it to open to find out! | |

Thanks for pointing out that page.
I just noticed this tid-bit at the bottom. SITE REQUIREMENTS: 2 xperience the site as it was intended, u must download the Flash plugin. 2 xperience licensed downloaded files from the MUSICOLOGY store, u must have Windows Media Player 9. We recommend u use Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher with cookies and Java enabled on a PC with a minimum of Windows 98 SE. We reccommend Mac OS 9 users try Netscape 7. We cannot guarantee all functionality will perform the same 4 Mac users. We also suggest that members with a 56K or slower internet connection use the HTML version of the site (does not require FLASH). 4 Tech Support, please emale help@npgmusicclub.com I guess there will be no more quicktime or mp3 files which makes the club no good for me. I'm on a MAC OSX and that windoze media player only goes up to version 8 for the mac. Oh, well. Let me know how it goes. All Rights Reserved. |

It does say that 'The MUSICOLOGY Store will have all the latest music from Prince and the NPG...', so it doesn't just say you'll only be able to download that one album. 'The more U download, the less U pay' also suggests that there should be more than just one album to download - at least I hope so, because I really really don't want to download Musicology before buying it. | |
