she has an actual DJ spinnin on her show.

he somehow lost his vinyl collection and has a "tip-jar" next to his tables to go towards new wax.

& the kicker (that kicks in my jealosy) is that folks keep sending him all these oldskool funk albums they have come across, or even from their own collections.

Ellen sat next to Prince at the Grammy Awards and mentioned on her show how great of an experience that was for her. Maybe that's when they hatched the plan for him to appear on her show. Of course she'll treat him with dignity. She's a very dignified woman herself, and I have nothing but respect for both of them. Check out her Web site - it rocks!

It's better than being on Oprah, I guess.

Why is it every move the guy makes there has to be someone bitching about it? I'm not wild about Ellen's "comedy", but I see no reason for him to not do the show. Its a positive thing for him, so what's the problem? Hell, I can't stand Regis Philbin either, but I'm glad Prince is doing his show. The more exposure the better.

Yes, that's the way to do it. I agree with JediMaster, the more exposure the better.

Yes, I think that is exactly what happened. When I saw on the E! channel that Ellen was seated right next to Prince at the Grammys, I wondered if Ellen would talk Prince into appearing on her show. I'm glad that thought came true.

I just don't see the connection and common interests to be on this comedy sitcom. TO ME, it seems so not classy and typical for Prince to do. Perhaps I'm a bit judgemental on Ellen D., not saying I don't respect her, but I'm not fond of her personaly, I don't find her funny or interesting and I'm not sure I share your views on "the more exposure, the better".

BUT...
I did just check out here website and thought it was friggin' awesome. Great work who ever put that together! that little intro was pretty impressive.

I just watched some of her monologues. They were pretty funny.
