"Legal action will be taken against anyone that copies and post my written words from the NPGMC forum on any other internet site or forum at any time or if

So I guess this has something to do with the fact that the thread titled "NPGMC member off her meds?" has mysteriously vanished? I wouldn't think that any of the moderators would think for a second that there's anything illegal whatsoever about me copying and pasting from one online message board to another. I don't want to rush to conclusions, but it seems odd that Ms. "Ya Got Ta Have ___" added the hilarious blurb that I pasted above just at the same time that the thread up and vanishes...

At least I know it's the org, so I'll be getting an orgnote soon letting me know what's up. In the meantime, I'd like for everyone in the club to know that if they are gonna post some crazy-ass shit like "Prince works long hours for little pay," then you're gonna get called for it. You can't hide behind your scriptures.

The best part is that this member who is now threatening me with legal action (which again I say louder IS A TOTAL MOTHERFUCKING JOKE..CAN YOU EVEN READ A BOOK?)...this same member has a Yahoo! group called Prince - The Digital Garden. Hmmm...do you think she cleared the copyrights on that with Prince first?

Oh, and GET THIS, Y'ALL. Someone had the audacity to say "cue Faith No More's Midlife Crisis here" in regards to Prince's latest actions, and this is how Ms. Righteous responds:

Since I haven't had any contact with this person before and know nothing about them (and certainly have no personal beef with them whatsoever), I simply took umbrage to the following comment which was posted over there:



Now since I paid my $25 membership just like everyone else, one would think that I could reply to this in the club's forum, but as we all know, that's not possible, because they eject those who they consider to be "troublesome." (Not surprisingly, they keep every cent of that $25.)

Since the club has decided to revoke that privilege that I earned as a paying customer, when I go over there and see something I want to reply to, I bring it over here and then respond to it...in an open forum (until proven otherwise, anyway).

To the yokel who's causing all this commotion, have you ever heard of hyperbole? Have you ever heard of sarcasm? Have you ever heard of humor? Have you ever heard of fansites where people post their opinions and aren't expected to all have the same goddamn opinion in the first place?

Obviously I don't know a thing about you except for what you posted..which in my opinion makes you look unbalanced at the very least, but who isn't? I'm as fucking unbalanced as they come. As I've said numerous times in this thread, I don't know anything about you and by no means do I have any vendetta against you...or ill will, for that matter. Hell, you've totally made this insomnia-tinged night something special. I have never contacted you by email or any other method and have no plans to do so, nor any reason for doing so. Like I said earlier, I simply wanted to be able to respond to the comment of a club member (like myself), and you can ask PeePee9 if I have the option of posting in the club's forums. I have been constantly astonished at the level of ignorance toward the law at NPGMC, (from the posters)and this is the latest example. Since the G2P thread was closed I've decided not to bother posting there anymore, as I end up feeling dismay at some of the ignorance based opinions thrown around.
It is perfectly legal to quote someone, or even quote copyright material under fair use legislation. You can even use a copyright image under fair use if it is for information and/or parody, the "Warn a Brotha" t- shirt being a perfect example. BTW, no credit was given to whoever that t shirt design was borrowed from, but I bet you don't care about that missy, do you?

Anyway that particular member at NPGMC is a prime example of the narrow mindedness I refuse to be associated with.
And the only reason I am not using her name is because I don't want to give her an over-inflated opinion of her own self worth, which is already highly misguided.
She should also look up the definitions of libel and slander, because she does not appear to have a clue.

While I realize I should just ignore it, but what the hell. This person is now in the club, claiming that I am recruiting others in some sort of virtual harassment, the details of which I couldn't even begin to comprehend, because no such thing exists, obviously. Oh come on, folks, have a little kindness. Yes, I admit, I had a bit of a chuckle when I first read that thread over on NPGMC but the smile soon was wiped off my face as I realised that this thread was genuine and serious.

This is a person suffering from genuine mental problems. Doctors believe that around 1 in 5 of us will suffer from a form of mental illness at some point in their lives.

What she says is prepostrous, of course, but whilst her problems may be imagined, her anguish is real.

Of course, it's not our problem and there's nothing any of us can do for her. However, some of you are really letting her wind you up. Ignore it, it's nothing serious for any of us. I'm just dissapointed that the NPGMC haven't stopped the thread and saved her from embarassing herself.

I hear what you're saying though...but I was totally unaware how far gone she was when I started this whole mess by quoting that ridiculous statement she made about poor broke-ass Prince. It's EXTREMELY hard for me to tell the bonafide lunatics from the rest.

Plus, since I was booted, I hardly ever get a chance to quickly browse through the boards...so it's not like I had any kind of history on this woman.

And you're absolutely right about the mental illness -- obviously, it's a serious issue. If she's not making up a lot of it for attention (which is what I tend to believe) and she really believes all this stuff, then she's a pretty extreme case...

But I mean shit, *I* have a mental illness, and sometimes it really fucks with me. I'm lucky in that it's just the ol' depression routine and I never lose any touch with reality...but it's a fucking bitch, no doubt..as I'm sure many of you know.

I would still expect someone to jump all over my ass if I threatened them with legal action.
