They may be deleting your posts now, because they've already collected your money. But come next year, they'll be peaches and cream with you, courting you all over again to sign up.

You know they wouldnt leave the forums down when they had a DVD about to be released.

They're shootin themselves in the foot by deleting any post that expresses any remote dissatisfaction with the club. People are already hesitating to buy the new CD and DVD. Next year, many of us are going to give up on the club alltogether.

The more people they continue to piss off is going to mean less money in P's pocket. Plain and simple.

Personally, I think they should get rid of the bulletin boards and chat functions altogether, maintain a regular news section, churn out the rants like they useta (even if they were completely over the top, I still had fun reading them), and leave our comments out of the equation, with the exception of perhaps a "U Tell Us" e-mail address.

I really think the NPGMC forums have done more harm than good, and Prince isn't the kind of artist who exactly represents a flourishing of open dialog, so I say tear the shit down.
