West Does anybody know if there is a reason why West is longer than the other 3 trax on NEWS...I cant hear anything in that extra minute (or so)...maybe its exclusive content for NPGMC members with dog-like hearing. | |

I think it's the weakest. North is my favorite. Very mellow, the only 'song' on the album. East is the jam! South is funky! I love the ending!  555-4444 you're on coffee talk. | |

West is the only decent thing on the album...tracks are too long and there are not enough ideas...I was a bit disappointed cheers

North and East are the 2 best tracks(IMO) and the only 2 that though they are instrumental,I can "hear" P in.
In other words, if I heard North or East for the first time, not knowing it was P, I would feel that it must be P or he had a hand in the production somewhere. West and South are truly a new dirction musically for P (IMO), but are also good tracks. I like N.E.W.S. *White, Black, Puerto Rican..Everybody just a-freakin'...-Prince(1980)* | |
