Saving "NORTH" sample...

Has anyone been able to "save" the "North" sample. Usually you can locate the mp3s from the Reflection Room in your Temporary Internet Files and copy them to documents, but after playing the sample (which is quite long) I didn't find it in the Temp folder. Thanks- can't wait for my cd to arrive.

For now- I passed the audio from my computer to my stereo and recorded "North" onto MiniDisc while it was playing. Now I can take it in my car!

I'll be damned-

After playing "NORTH" 3 times, I check my Temp Inter Folder again- and there it was "nnorth" all 14 mins @ 96 kbs!

After the weekend- you'll have the entire new cd!

Have a great weekend!

You have to let it load entirely. Also, the final MP3 seems to be corrupt (perhaps intentionally) and when you try to play it again, it will cause Windows Media Player to freeze up when it gets to the end. You can correct this by opening it up an a program like CoolEdit, and trimming off the last few seconds of blank sound, then saving it as a WAV to burn to CD. I wouldn't recommend re-encoding it as an MP3 because it will make the sound quality worse.

I copied it from Temp Int Folder to documents and burned it straight to disc using Easy CD creator 5.
Also have no problems playing it repeatedly on Windows Media Player 9.

My North went into my Temp Int Files, then sent it as a shortcut straight 2 my desktop, then played it again and it went into my MusicMatch Player!! I have never looked back since someone put me onto MusicMatch!!!

So, now I can play it as many times as I like!!! smile smile smile
