I am curious about the NPGMC chat room. The problem is that I don't see the chat window. I think I need an "applet". Where can I find this thing?

Hey aero, actually the "applet" is what is hosted by npgmc.com... it contains the code for the chat program.
What you need to run it is a Java Virtual Machine.

I'm on Windows XP myself, so i had to get this one as Microsoft no longer ships a JVM of its own. After installing it I could use the chat.
I've heard that people on Macs have problems using the chat, although Java should be cross platform (run on any operating system as long as a JVM is installed).
