anyone else unleash the mist of color effect by clicking the urns? urns are in every room. is it like color incense? it's sort of pretty, meditative or something. but why?

I quite liked the idea, personally. It shows that there's a sense of humour at work somewhere on the site.

Eh...all this Flash stuff just makes the site that much slower and klunkier. The org may not be much to look at, but she's got it where it counts (Han Solo voice).

When you're browsing the Flash version of the site, you can't use the "back" button on your browser because it will just take you back to the very beginning. The urns are basically just a "back" button disguised as part of the decor, they take you out of the room you are in.

hehe. thanks for the responses everyone. i did eventually figure out the relationship between the urns and the 'back' feature. problem was, my laptop kept freezing out. at first i thouhgt it was the NPGMC site but eventually pinpointed the problem on the hardware.
