Couldn't really understand the amateurish previous one which anyone with half a brain cell could have done in their sleep!

Although ideally it should be branded with Prince's name as otherwise it's only going to attract the hardcore who know who 3rdeyegirl are and not any new customers.

The site looks quite OK!

I mean: all the basic features are there, layout is simple yet effective.

The pieces of the puzzle come together,a s it appears.

Peeped that. Weak. Hope he has bigger plans in the near future for the site, if he scrapped Breakfast... and them.

This is odd.

- First we get 20pr1nc3.com with 1 vid and 2 teasers (including one for a DVD that never came out), then it's gone after a few weeks.

- Then we get prince2013.com with another teaser for a vid 4 sale... that's still there months after.

- Then we get at last a real online shop with 3rdeyegirl.com 1.0 but after some time it seems abandonned and was suddenly revived 3 weeks ago.

- Then we get onenpg.com which is a fake fansite asking Prince to open the vault and gets scrapped after 24 hours supposedly after getting a cease and desist (by Prince to himself ) and we still don't know WTF this was supposed to mean

- Then now we get 3rdeyegrl.com 2.0 which seems to be a real website at last but half of what was for sale on 1.0 is now gone and there's no new material for sale while we get loads of livestream stuff no one can see in time but some great souls manage to leak... on unofficial websites.

Seems so all over the place that it's hard to get excited, especially since for all the different sites, streams, videos, etc, it's low on the content I really want--new PRINCE music! If Prince wants to create mystery, how about keeping all the reboots a little less public until he decides on a site that works... Unless he needed the capital from the first 3rdeyegirl site to finance a web designer for the next one...

Yes the marketing strategy is an absolute disaster....he really needs to outsource PR and marketing to someone who know what the hell they are doing. If Prince wants to be no.1 again or no.1 at the bank again then he needs to hire David Bowie's PR or marketing people. A masterclass in how to run a public comeback!!

Erm we've been waiting to see what happens for 6 months now, that's a lifetime in the internet age!!! I love Prince, don't get me wrong, he just needs to outsource the non creative stuff to ppl who know what they are doing! What other megastar has such a chaotic internet strategy?!?!?
