What has happened to this site (the Org)? I've been a lurker for years here, and have seen the voices of reasons steadily decline. I used to love reading the free, non ass-kissing opinions of a few users on here, but they all left (probably finally completely bored with Prince's recent output). Where's Vitriol, Wall, Love4OneAnother, Alexnvrmnd, Wall, Bboy, SCNDLS, and a couple of others? Hell, people pick on Bart when he's one of the ONLY ones left here who doesn't swallow Prince's bullshit, just because he's 54, still alive, and still recording - which means I guess we're all supposed to worship at his feet, regardless of how crappy his output is.

And for those people who are going to say, "Why are you finally here if you don't like him so much?", to you I say I'm here to discuss him and his works (live and studio) back when he actually still cared what he released and went to the live stage with. Vivia la (older) bootlegs!

Lets face it the new offerings have been sub par but one thing we know is that P will turn it out live. Theres nothing about that grammy commercial that made it sound like he'll be PERFORMING though. I played it back 3 x so we'll see.

I will say i am tired of getting messed around to buy prince music.I came across a mp3 of Screwdriver that only USA fans can download free.I was so annoyed i found screwdriver on a Torrent and i've enjoyed it very much.But i have never done Prince out of a Penney so i scrubbed the torrent file on the day of release and bought it from amazon.Its like going around in circles so you can Hero worship.I have now been a fan since 1989 which i still think is pretty impressive.And am i the only person that though of the song "peach" when i heard Screwdriver.

"Peach" is a highly combustible rocker with jaw-dropping guitar solos. "Screw Driver" sounds like something he slapped together in ten minutes.

As far as Screwdrivers concerned he could just as easily solo with a drum track behind him for 10 minutes & I'd buy that too. The remix rocks with some infectious keyboard grooves layered in nicely. So far so happy.

Interesting to see what happens now, the title says coming soon. The page source has a link to google analytics, so someone is tracking how often the black page is being accessed.
