LF was the first Prince site I joined. I have seldom joined a site online for a subscription fee and then signed up for a follow up year.
But it would depend on what was offered. I read all the negative comments about LF before I joined in November, yes contrary to everyone's opinions because I like to judge for myself. I honestly didn't find it that bad. It was by no means perfect, but then what in life is? Take a look around you. It certainly wasn't as "ugly" as many made it out to be. Of course they are all judging from previous websites of Prince and probably had certain expectations based on those experiences. Besides, I have faith in Prince. I also got free stuff Purple and Gold, Dr Funkenberry's releases, a whole lot of new free youtube stuff lately and I'm happy. Why is Prince suddenly found around the internet in the last 3 months? And in case you ask, I don't mind that others enjoyed the free stuff on the net who hadn't joined LF. Iwould. But I wouldn't go into it blindly again like i did with Lotusflow3r. The upfront value has to be worth it. I need to know that if I'm paying, say $25 to join that I am getting $25 worth the first day. Otherwise, no dice. From now on I will break even with any prince website from day one or I will not join again.

Yes I will support anything Prince does. Lotusflow3r.com allowed me to spend a fabulous night with Prince @ his three shows in one night weekend @ the beautiful Nokia center here in California a year ago. Prince has had his problems with his business ventures. But the music he has blessed me with for over 30 years is enough of a gift for me.
He has given his unappreciative fans so much over the years. Even with his other websites chances to attend his sound checks. The hundreds of aftershows he has played for us after already playing over 2 hours at the main show. I mean what other artist has done that for there fans NONE. Still U unappreciative fans bitch and moan at almost everything he does. U make me sick. No wonder he abandons U. Your like ungrateful spoiled brats. I just can't believe how bad U treat him. I WILL NEVER EVER TURN MY BACK ON PRINCE EVER FOR AS LONG AS I'M ON THIS EARTH. He does not deserve this type of treatment. When all he ever has done is give us his God given talent. In the last year I've actually been able to obtain more work by Prince through visiting the Org than through joining Lotusflow3r.
The Org = free Lotusflow3r = £55 approx at the time Okay so there was material on LF that wasn't available elsewhere (bar torrents of course) but I still ended up buying the bloody cds off eBay. And if you asked me what the bonus track was I would have to go and look. I won't be paying for another site unless the content is well worth it. So I'd be waiting a while before jumping in unlike last (my first) time. Once bitten... | |
