17 videos clips that are unique on the site I counted them because I hear the talk about how everyone already had all those viodeos. Like most of the faithful, I already had Controversy and Alphabet Street - all the stuff on the official video DVD. But who had the clip for Somewhere here on Earth or The 1 U Wanna C before they appaered on Lousflow3r.com?
And the unaired Tonight Show performances" Guitar and 1999? They are great. They didnt show those on American TV. And the clips from Montreaux and Coachella - who had those in that kind of quality? I had the whole Undertaker and Sacrafice of Victor films on imported japanese laser discs for years. I had to kill someone and still coughed up a grip to get them. They are there in their entirety in digital format. That is nothing to sneeze at. If you were to buy them all and the music downloads (with the cheap ass T shirt) I feel it was close to $77. I am not complaining. But then $77 doesnt mean that much to me. [Edited 3/3/10 13:04pm]

Good point, some of these vids are worth saving before the site goes down. DMSR live is my favourite. To be honest I haven't seen The one u Wanna c or somewhere here on earth yet, didn't realise they were exclusive to the site.... Not great songs though, annoying that dreamer never saw the light of day, there's definitely a video made for that (clips on the target ad). Lotusflower was supposed to be so much better darn it "Still Crazy 4 Coco Rock"

The SHOE - video was available before. It was even shown on BET and circulating since then. It was also available for a short time on the director's website. I also saw the The 1 u wanna c - video before featured on a website. I don't remember if it was AOL or yahoo or whatever, but I ripped the stream back then on my hd like many other fans. There are some exclusive videos at the site, but those two you mentioned have been available before.

i understand your reasoning, but no one else would dare to charge people that
much money simply to look at clips online. there is no option to save them or to save their audio, unless, like most people do now, you get them through an other source (which is not what you paid for to begin with). the simple truth is that the site is a joke. it was probably meant to be much more than it turned out to be. i'm sure that prince had bigger plans for the site and planned on releasing more music and interacting more but somehow, for some reason that site was launched and turned out to be dead in the water. one possible reason might be that he didn't get enough people to sign up and might not want to release more exclusive music to such a small niche market. the site has, what, 30,000 members right now? but the way i see it, that's not our problem. we signed up in good faith, eventho we've been around since at least the mid 80s and know how big of a chance there is to get burned. bad marketing and promotion plus a website that a non fan couldn't even get into for signing up until they put up a spoiler. that's the problem. for an unknown reason prince rather keeps shooting himself in the foot than just have a clear, transparant online presence with songs available to everyone and a site accessible to all who want to have a look and check out his stuff. it would also help if he sold ALL his songs/albums in one place, with clips of all his vids and promo stuff as a marketing tool. that would draw in at least twice as many people as an obscure new album does, with a website that is named after that album, which contains prince bonics and all. ww.prince.com with news, pictures, a hefty retail section and a music store that holds his back catalogue and all his online releases up to this point. with the option of subscribing to a vip section where you can get tickets on pre sale. that's not something rediculous or even wacky. it's what 90% of artists do online and it works. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

There aren't even close to 17 "unique" video clips on LF.com.
At last count there are 32 playable videos. I Wanna Be Your Lover (promo) Dirty Mind (promo) Uptown (promo) Controversy (promo) Little Red Corvette (promo) I Would Die 4 U (promo) Raspberry Beret (promo) Kiss (promo) Sign O' The Times (promo) Alphabet St. (promo) Diamonds & Pearls (promo) Cream (promo) 7 (promo) Te Amo Corazon (promo) Somewhere Here On Earth (promo) The One U Wanna C (promo.....ish) 7 / Come Together (Coachella Festival) Shhh (Coachella Festival) Creep (Coachella Festival) When Eye Lay My Hands On U (Montreux Jazz) Eye Love U But Eye Don't Trust U Anymore (Montreux Jazz) Peach (Montreux Jazz) Little Red Corvette (Montreux Jazz) Guitar (Leno - Unaired) 1999 (Leno - Unaired) Turn Me Loose (Leno - Aired) D.M.S.R. (Musicology Tour, 2004) The Brit Awards 2006 American Idol 2006 The Super Bowl 2007 The Undertaker The Sacrifice Of Victor Of those 32, only the 10 bolded above can claim to have originated on LotusFlow3r. The others have either been available elsewhere prior to LF adding them, or have been officially released long ago, and in far superior quality (minus the badly ripped Japanese LD subtitles). 10 out of 32 isn't even 1/3rd "unique". I'm starting to believe Brofie is a Prince minion. Defending clearly bad business practice and demeaning people who worked directly with Prince if they dispute the story he wants to hear.

and more importantly
not a single one can be downloaded-and watched properly-without the very VERY annoying buffering-and as great as my widescreen pc is-not as good as my home cinema downstairs luckily-some genius did the wonderful Lotus TV trw dvd and although nothing to do with the official site-its made me happier i have all the lotus vids in good quality-with great menus It also has all the Leno-and the o2 tv stuff-so i guess without LetusFUover.con i wouldnt have got this great release but that site is pants

Just a thought, forgetting he does have new fans that weren't even born when a lot of his music and vids came out. Let alone there are some people whoe were born and still haven't seen his older stuff.
