I know I'm going to get flamed by someone posting an animation of a person beating a dead horse, but I can't resist mentioning that we find out most Prince info from dr funkenberry and the org first. What is going on?

lotusflow team is just a tadd slow that's all. more good times are on the way though. just hang in there with it.

Well okay; the mp3 from Lotusflow3r is 256kbps.
Hopefully the new music tab means more new music in the near future.

I'm starting to love this Cause and Effect....heavy stuff but good for the right mood. Especially Friday night

i'm liking the song more now that i'm hearing in in better quality
on the site.

but i just keep laughing at the "music" tab that they created just
now.

eleven months in and finally there's a "music" tab on the site

have they changed the security settings for the temp file of the song?

i'm not asking how to find it and i'm not soliciting for bootlegs, i'm
logged into the official site and listening to the stream.

but, in the usual places, as is usual procedure, the only things that
show up are the other 3 songs in the player, yet "cause and effect"
remains obviously absent.

weird.

The Music tab is nice. But is it new? Was it created when the Paris stuff was recorded?

I can't remember but then again, I just joined the Org Wine Club.

They took away the "tickets" tab, and added the "music" tab. Not good.

Maybe it was noticed before but I found out just this morning;
The music tab displays also a little bit more info about the song you're playing.

Y U Wanna Treat Me So Bad is a "Paisley Park Rehearsal" and Cause and Effect is a "Single".
Also I found out that when I play Cause and Effect from my downloadfolder included in the metadata is tracknumber '1' while the other 3 songs don't have a tracknumber.

He should´ve done something more, something extra... we´ve all heard the song on radio first, then their website, then DrFB.. then LF.com except that last one costs $77

and why not put up a wav or mp3 file we can actually download?

everyone and their mother probably have this track saved now
from the radio rip. in lousy quality. it's already out there
on peoples harddrives who are not even members of the site.

that's ok with me, i don't care about who has it, but as a
member of the site i was kind of expecting we'd be at least
able to download the same stuff in high quality.

there are usually ways to save those files from the official
sites in some other way but they don't seem to work for me
this time. and besides, why would we have to sneak around to
get the file from the stream to our harddrives?

if we're getting a few more songs on that stream, which we
will then have to try and get through other channels, i'll
still be disappointed.

simple transparant and logical conduct doesn't seem to be
part of the whole lotusflower.com experience.

if the site continues for another year and they're gonna

I knew about this yesterday beacuse NPR put this on their blog because it is streaming on MN Public Radio. I put it on Twitter as soon as I found out. All that and I'm not in love with the song. Just sayin.

Love the song. Great guitar parts and vibe.

The new music tab is promising. I only hope this torrent of poor reviews does not sour Prince into not unleashing more.

i didn't even know i could access the website without paying.

the file does not show in my temp folder.
