$77 for a t-shirt.

When will people learn?

Prince is not good at managing his own business like this.

The reason? He gets paranoid and fires people, and either forgets to replace them or puts someone who is incompetent to run them.

He has done this for years.

From his fanzines (Controversy), to his 900 line, to now the internet.

Here is the BBB bureau.

File a report if your having problems.

I too respect Prince as a musician but am tired of hearing people like yourselves not getting your moneys worth. You would think after all these years Prince would have known how to manage this type of business.

He has tons of unreleased songs that are out there floating around, and he could easily throw us a bone and release them by himself (with better quality), but no, he instead does nothing.

It may be a good time for Prince to start thinking about releasing these songs as look what is happening with MJ. He passed away and the record companies are going through his vault. You don't think whoever controls Prince's estate will do the same thing? Prince should release the music now on his own terms rather than let someone else do it.

Crystal Ball has been so far his greatest attempt to release material that is just sitting around collecting dust. Fans loved this. NPG was decent sometimes, now why can't you do this on the lotusflow3r website?

I don't get it.

Despite concerns over content, Prince has delivered everything in the sign-up agreement and more. The BBB will not apply here.

Also, no year 2 has been announced and I'm assuming the site name has little, if anything, to do with his current projects.

Not true, a significant number of people did not get the minimum offered t-shirt. The BBB absolutely applies because "10 albums of unreleased content" were advertised as well as streaming live concerts.

Was that in the "agreement" or "CONtract"? No, they were used as advertised enticements to get people to sign up.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

I signed up in hopes of a tour and exclusive member-only tickets. Unfortunately, the only things that happened were far out of reach. If he does any more paisley park events before the year sub is up, I'll probably buy 2 tix, and fly my wife and I from Ottawa.

The 10 albums were mentioned in press releases only. I remember being slightly concerned when I joined and read through the agreement.

If the BBB applies to press releases then I guess it will be effective. But I think Lotusflow3r is likely to state that the sign-up was legally binding and the press releases by the web-designers were conjecture not 'promises'.

I feel similar to you though. I'm wanting new content before the year ends.

Then again the albums might be released just before membership runs out to encourage you to sign up again.

He has 23 days or so to do that...
I don't think I would sign up again if he does, but I pray that he puts up some music.

According to the LF site terms:

Automatic renewal is available for Lotusflow3r memberships. If automatic renewal is selected at purchase your credit card will be billed on an annual basis, unless you cancel automatic renewal prior to the renewal date by emailing sales@Lotusflow3r.com

An e-mail to that address should go unread and unanswered, but that in combination with notification your CC company of the impending charge and to deny it should keep the screwing over to a minimum when it is time for renewals.

We are working on getting all of you updates to the "Help thread" posted up in this forum. It is just moving slower that we would like, but we ARE working on it. I'll post updates if and when I can get them.

ohhhhh.
I need to email them right now.

I didn't know how to prevent it so I just updated my Credit Card information by messing up the CSV number and the expiration date so it would fail during the transaction. Apparently there's no Credit Card verification if you just update the information they store. Odd.

I'll email them now.

I'm wondering what the 'and more' OperatingThetan is talking about. lol

Any way you slice and dice it, fans were mislead. CONSUMERS were mislead. lol

I'd seriously laugh my ass off if Prince put up a whole bunch of unreleased songs the day after everybody's memberships expired.

I would as well - as I downloaded each one.

I guess I would too, when I downloaded them for free about an hour or so after you did.
