Nope. Didn't do year one either. Prince has made it so easy to appreciate bootlegs by over pricing and under delivering the legitimate stuff.

I'd only consider it if it were changed to a month-to-month subscription like the original NPGMC. This way, it would motivate Prince to add content to the site each month, and you'd know what you're getting before you decide to pay the monthly fee.

I doubt this will happen. Hell, I doubt there will be a year two, but I suspect our credit cards will be charged for autorenewing nonetheless.

When you sign up, you sign for 1 years access. So someone paying today pays for 1 years access. As far as I can tell, there's no specified year as there was with NPGMC. But then again this is Prince, so logic can't be applied.

i sincerely doubt the continuation of the site for a second year tho.
he seems bored with it. i feel the only reason we ever got those few
montreux clips was because so many people were complaining.

far as prince is concerned, the original website with those few vids
were well worth those $ 77,-, i'm sure.

if, and that's a pretty big if, they go on for a second year, we will
no doubt be bombarded with promo blurbs about 'much new music' or the
classic '10 albums worth of unreleased material'.

but i'm not signing up anymore until that stuff is actually on a site,
ready to be purchased/downloaded.

not a second before then will i sign up for anything prince offers us
anymore.

Come on, they made Lotus sound like the BEST site on the web. Sure the graphics are nice, but there are NO extras. Yea, I get to see a pelican/headphone plug fly, but at least on the NPGMC, we got audio clips, a discography, etc. Here, we get 3 albums for download and the videos are in a crappy format that u can't do much with. At least give us some high quality mpg or m4p video files that u can use without having to convert them.

The way I figure it, if there is truly something amazing that is posted there for purchase/download, someone will post about it here in detail. I can then decide to join if I feel that I can't live without those items.

As it stands now, the only things legitimately offered were the album downloads and a 3 random song downloads. Considering I bought the album at Target as well, we're talking $77 for 4 songs from the website.

I say he goes back to the $25 yearly subscription price, and then charge extra for any downloads.

Has anyone had any luck unsubscribing from the site? I e-mailed customer service three times asking for confirmation that I would not be automatically resubscribed and I never heard anything back from them.
