Whats with the playlist file on Xpectation? I have tried this a few times and the album still comes out in 01 - 09 track order. What is "the order it was intended to be listened too" ?. Also a few tracks end rather abruptly; can a track "half" download? Surely the whole thing just wouldn't work! Sheeet I am such a technophobe!! | |

the playlist file doesn't really serve any purpose... i guess it's for the convenience of being able to click on one icon and have the entire cd load... otherwise, you could just put the songs into winamp yourself and sort them...  Mr. Ellis Dee-licious, the Official NPGigolo

Here are the byte amounts in order, if your files are smaller, they haven't downloaded properly. 3870 6674 11034 7536 5786 7870 11594 6700 15743 Hope that helps. | |

when you download them, the order is listed on the website and in the filename... the filename for xhalation is NPGMC_01-Xhalation_Prince ... therefore, it would come first... and so forth and so on... not really that hard to figure out... Mr. Ellis Dee-licious, the Official NPGigolo

Thanks for the assistance guys (even Ellisdee who was starting to get patronising) the file sizes helped explain half downloaded tracks that I have now rectified. Cheers.
What I was trying to understand is (aside from the fact that 01-clearly comes before 02-) that there is a playlist file called Xperience_Album.m3u that is supposed to assist in playing the order of the tracks as per the statement: "2 xperience XPECTATION as it was intended, please download this PLAYLIST file, place it in the same folder as all 9 MP3 files, and open it in an MP3 PLAYER 2 hear all the trax 2gether and in the correct sequence." This is my initial query it doesn't seem to do anything, and is only 1Kb and a SMIL file type (like that should mean something to me!) Thanks again for your assistance. I can see how it might be confusing to some people, but the way the songs are numbered and listed on the site is just the correct way to play them. If you click on the playlist file, it puts up the correct [01-09] playlist on your winamp player. That's all. When you download the files, you can see that one track (track 06) is spelled incorrectly:
"NPMGC_06-Xogenous_Prince.mp3" should be "NPGMC_06-Xogenous_Prince.mp3" it puts the file in the explorer to the last position, so rename that file. Maybe they fixed it on the site now, I don`t know. Now the playlist file.
