If Prince has so many unreleased videos and songs, why doesn't he put some of them on his $77 a year website? Would it kill him to show some appreciation to the hardcore fans who paid $77 by putting some rare stuff on the site? Anything?

He reminds me of a quote from Woody Allen's Vicky Cristina Barcelona. The main characters father is a poet who has not released his work publicly. When asked why, his son says something to the effect of "he hates society/people, so he denies them his best work." Maybe Prince suffers from that problem, too.

It's a joke now, needs something special soon.

Janet Jackson has every single video of her career (except for "Dream Street") on her website and Prince has a good couple...I know he has more however there just should be a bit more..text...a forum...just soemthing week by week updates...a new pic or two. I like the fact that Undertaker and Sacrafice of Victor is on there..great additions.

To be fair, he did just put 2 unreleased videos on the site, and they are pretty good. That being said, he could be doing much more.

Prince is genuinely crazy.
This is his most attractive feature, and it's also the bane of our existences as his fans.
He'll never do what anyone wants him to do, but if you recall he's always been doing his own thing.


Unfortunately now it's alienating the same fan base that it initially attracted.

We are spoiled with all Prince stuff we can have.

He's very aware of what's all going on - here I'm pointing at all the bootlegging. After closing down NPGMC and 3121.com IMO he tried again to connect with us, a new community (LotusFlow3r) and ever since the start (and even before) people and fanatics appeared to have expectations and so many people reacted very disappointed. Where's the trust - where's the Love4OneAnother? Are we all that honest?

I'm happy to hear that he's added a few things of late and has made tickets available to the show in Monaco, but it did seem awfully strange that Montreux was not even mentioned on the site until an interview popped up after the fact, and the reworked version of "In a Large Room with No Light" was freely streaming on another website.

same reaction 4 some that went 2 the LA shows earlier this year and started doing in a large room ..so it stands 2 reason 2 a certain degree, he has benefited by recordings being released.
