Is there some kind of organisation in America that controls trade actions ?

You can't accept the fact that a member gets his box after it's on retail or even a week before it .

If there is some kind of organisation, why do we all open a lawsuit against NPGMC ?

If someone spoils some hot coffee over his hand, he gets a miliion in America, we are ripped of by lies and non exclusive material by NPGMC and we accept it ? I'm not an American, but if I was, man , I already had a lawier working for me right now .

Oh, come ON. We all know how Prince does business: like a 4 year old on meth. Ok? If you aren't willing to deal with that, don't join the club. The NPGMC should just put a disclaimer on the site: "Prince is a flake, and we don't promise shit. You might regret it if ya join. But ya might regret it if you don't. You choose." I can't believe anybody thinks it's worth the energy to sue him.

Of course, I can't believe he thinks it's worth the energy to sue his fans. But whatever.

Whether we like it or not, we have had 4 CD's, which is all they promised. I might not think that this was in the spirit of what I expected but that is irrelevant. I may be dissapointed by what they sent and when they sent it, but that is irrelevant.

If we don't like it, then we do have a way to express it. It is very simple, don't re-join.

Actually, go back and read your emails and the website and all promotions for the club. The 4cds were just a PART of what the site boasted.

In the end, the NPGMC is delviering on at least 70% of it's promises. The problem is that the 70% they are delivering on are not enough to keep me satisfied as a consumer OR as a supporter.

The right thing to do is to see what they will offer with the 2003 membership and decide to or NOT to sign up next year and tell them why, which ever way you choose.

Come on. The NPGMC is just finishing it's second year. The U.S. Congress is nearing year 225 and it's still fucked up with it's racist senators and intern humping representatives. Give the NPGMC a break and pipe down.

Since we're all from different countries, we'll have to use international law to sue. Maybe we should all contact our ambassadors to the U.S. and demand that they talk to the president. This is an international incident which has angered the citizens of all countries of the world! Or maybe we should contact the U.N. and arrange for a trial in international court. If that Milosevic trial is over, I'm sure they could fit us in. We will make the world a better place for everyone!

Whatever you do, leave me out of it. The whole idea is idiotic.

Spend your energy on something worthwhile. Volunteer at your local food bank. Write your local politician about something that needs to be changed in your community. Spend more time with your mother.

Sorry guys, but I can not stand anymore people posting statements of the like: "If you are not satisfied with the NPGMC just do not subscribe next year". This is a public forum and those words mean something to me: opinions are exchanged, different point of views are most of the time intreresting and may be taken into account when reinforcing, reshaping or even changing completely its opinion on a particular subject.

Just to compare, it would be like to say in politics: "If you are not happy with the present government or president, just write to them/him or go to another country; it's useless to discuss or write about it, things won't change anyway..."

Well, that does not seem the right way to me. If you want to discuss any aspect of Prince's life related to music, then you are in the right place. It is worth to keep doing it.

Yeah a class action lawsuit is in the works and yeah people are pissed... but i don't think its the way to go. I suspect enough has been done already so that they will think twice with being so vague, tempting sales with misleading plugs on the site, and attempting to brainwash his "followers" with outdated crankety psycho-babble.

Some have suggested to me that rather the ORG needs to change in that the entity with alot of these org-names has a bit of a screw loose upstairs. Don't worry. Prince is due next year to gradually pull out of this "good-book phase" its in his nature. And to those people i'll just say the same.. he's a musician, he's human, let him sing about boffing his sister all he wants.

I think most people will give NPGMC a chance to do better in Year 3 now that they are aware of some of the complaints... at least I will. Personally, even if a class action were possible, I'd have no interest in being a part of it. My sole desire is to get NPGMC to be more upfront and clear next year with exactly what benefits we will receive with our membership. I think (at least hope) that they have gotten the message... if not, I don't see the club surviving for a fourth year.
