It's been like that for a few days now. An Orger emailed the npgmc and they replied back about saying the site is no longer accessible, with no additional info.
Could be they're rehauling the site, or worse, dropping the site altogether(and making a new one?). Who knows.

2002 is over, all CDs have shipped. Will re-launch for 2003 soon with new look and new goodies to entice us to join again. Like a DVD.

could it be that they were possibly hacked into?

just a thought... thought it strange that it said 'forbidden' the first day, then 'not available' the next.

$.02.

If their hosting company was merging with another company, it could simply be they were moving the servers to another location.

You will get a forbidden message when there is no default page. You will get a not found message when 1.) the domain name doesnt exist 2.) the domain name exists but isnt pointed to any name servers 3.) the hosting company doesnt have the domain name properly configured in their name servers yet to resolve it.

Could also be that two of their sites (npgmusiclub.net and npgmusicclub.org) expired in November 2002, according to Register.Com.

But you will also see that npgmusicclub.com is in tact and won't expire until 26 June 2003.

Love4oneanother.Com expires in late June of 2005 while NPGOnlineLTD.com has an expiry date of late January 2006.

Maybe Prince and Company are lining up all of their web sites accordingly?

I also find interesting that 1800newfunk.US was just purchased today, 10 December 2002. No additional info on this yet.

Hopefully all this is just some down time for the web site, as you said, because we are reaching the end of 2002. As well, Prince and Company have been on tour since September and they are taking care of business now that they are back.

I'm guessing a redesign before Friday on the Tonight Show. A good time to get some stuff up there about the club for next year. What to expect and things like that.
