The video's kinda weird. The song is full of character and attitude, but the video makes no sense. Very repetitive and doesn't seem to have anything to do with the song. Don't get me wrong it looks amazing, very high production value clearly. I look forward to the next part. | |

the servers must have seriously updated. The site runs smooth as silk now and is really cool to navigate now. The choppiness of the videos is a thing of the past. No need to expand the video to full screen anymore. Good on the designers and web experts. They fixed the wrong of the first few days. Video quality is great, but the story line not all that... It's "Neo meets Trinity" on the roof top of a building, while Prince-as-omniscient narrator hovers in floating monitor. Somebody has been watching Blade Runner, The Matrix and Sin City.
Q-Tip doesn't make a very compelling actor in the video and doesn't even lip-sync to his rap. Don't see what the part two continuation of this video could be as it doesn't have any plot to it and there's no narrative structure to the song itself either. | |

i really like the video, though i'm kinda "WTF?!?" about it...
what does the video have to do with the song title or the lyrics? what's prince doing on a blimp jumbotron and why is Q-Tip the focus of the video? ok, fine, Q-Tip is the focus of the video. why not let him lip synch his rap? i think the video was executed beautifully - it's fun to look at and it's a cut above most prince videos - but conceptually, it's kind of a head-scratcher. is this the beginning of some serial adventure with Q-Tip and the Twilight/Matrix lady in DiscoJellyfish land? Do I need a bong to understand the plot here??? ah well. just look at the pretty colors and try not to think about it too much. you'll enjoy it. | |

I tried to watch the video, but all I get is a blank screen. In fact, I get the samething for any video I attempt to view. The music downloads seems to be resolved, but I cannot listen to any of the albums online. | |
