Where to sequence Crimson and Clover and The Morning After

This may be a really dumb question and down to personal choice, but I was wondering where people are placing Crimson and Clover in their playlist if combining the download and retail albums?

Hi james. No not quite, The Morning After replaces Crimson and Clover on the website download version of Lotusflow3r. Crimson and Clover is not on the download version at all. MPLSound and Elixer are identical on both the CD and Downlaod versions.
Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

That's where I put it too as Boom seemed to segue into The Morning After smile

I put Crimson on the end of the download. Prefer The Morning After in it's position as on the download.

It would be nice if we got word if LotusFlow3r was ever intended to include both tracks and in what order!

I kept Boom and The Morning After, for the most part, as it was downloaded. The change I did was to edit Crimson and Clover into Boom. I edited that C&C in between the two guitar strums at the very beginning of Boom. Believe it or not, it actually flows and sounds good. Add in some looped thunder heard between "From The Lotus..." and "Boom" and it sounds quite like it naturally belongs there.

I used Sound Forge 9 to incorporate it all and am quite pleased with the results. I also used the "pop cleanup" feature of Sound Forge to clear up that irritating click/pop heard towards the beginning of "From the Lotus..." it's about 10 seconds in and I thought it was a glitch in my download, until I heard it again on the CD. It's nit-picky, I know, but it really bothered me.

I don't like Morning After AT ALL, though I'm generally fond of the album... I'm tempted to just replace it with C&C and pretend the Morning After doesn't exist.... I might put it in another section of my Prince Albums, probably the "CD Singles" category where I put all the remixes and b-sides of his that I have.
