What's the deal with the "Boom" MP3? I've downloaded the MP3 files for LotusFlow3r, and the track "Boom" seems to cut out very abruptly at 3:19. The site originally posted the length of the track to be 4:54, so perhaps the track was corrupted somehow? It sounds like it cuts out when it streams on the site as well. This brings up a few questions:
- Is the WAV file longer? I was hoping to download the album as MP3s, but I'd go to WAV if it meant I could get the proper track. - Are others experiencing this issue as well? As far as I know, "Boom" DL release is a truncated version, and the uncut version will be on the CD retail release.
Maybe another little thing to constrict people to spent money on all P wants. Forgive me if I'm bitter, but sometimes I don't understand all this "no respect" for fans.

I guess I never considered the possibility that it could be deliberate! Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

and by the way, the songs doesn't end just like that, it blends with the next song. you have to listen to the tracks numerogically

on the download it's The Morning After, but on the cd it will C and C, how will that work? She Believed in Fairytales and Princes, He Believed the voices coming from his stereo

it doesn't blend well at all. why do people keep saying that? boom is simply guilotined and the morning after happens to just stumble into the room regardless. that doesn't mean that they flow "well". the break is quite horrible. i still can't believe prince did this. i mailed the tech team at lotusflower the first day to ask about this and they told me to check the download again in a few days because something might have gone wrong because so many people were downloading the files. in short: they had no idea if it was deliberate or not but my guess is that either the file is corrupted or indeed prince did this and it's a bad move. i'm gonna rip the retail version to my computer and players because that one will surely have the edge with boom getting the room it deserves (it ends WAY to quickly, cut almost 2 minutes short. wtf!?) and nicely flowing into Crimson n Clover. we can stick "the morning after" on there somewhere or leave it off alltogether. i don't care either way. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I noticed it too, if you play The Morning After, the last beat/note is on the beginning of this song. I can only assume its a bad edit, i know princes songs often segue into each other but cutting off the last beat from the mp3 sounds like its unfinished when listened to by itself.

well, at least someone agrees with me I burnt a cd with the songs so I can play the whole cd like it was mented to be. so no cut offs for me
