You're complaining about NPGMC Year 2003 before it even started. You whiner... You should understand that the Club is something new, an experiment in FREEDOM. In order to gain from the Club you have to give up your expectations.

In fact, I'm quite intrigued what NPGMC will write us in their email advertising Year 3. And I guess this email will be the only thing for which we will NOT have to wait.

They left it until the very last minute to confirm year 2, so I wouldn't think they'll be too quick to announce next year either.

Hopefully they'll sit down and think about what they can actually deliver before they make any promises.

Give up my expectations? Some of us don't like the prospect of just mailing Prince 100 bucks each year, and hope he gives us something, anything, in return for it.

Thats not how I shop.

Once I have the music I paid for in my hand, then I can go on to listen to Prince the artist. But when I'm punching my credit card into his site, Im a consumer, and Prince is obligated to abide by reasonable business practices just like any other company.

I'm not going to blow it off just because he's Prince.
