You have to download it again. Something interrupted the process.

To get anything out of this stupid website, do i have to :

- Pay? (thats out of the question)

- Use a different browser? (out of the question)

Ive had to wait this long, and if he expects me to lift a finger hes dreaming.

Just had my first look at the site and I have to say it is a bit confusing. I had to look through the posts on here to find out how to even access the subsciption area through the ticket!
I was genuinely excited about the site, but having read much of what has been said about it already, I think I'll hang back for a couple more days. It's a shame though that myself, and I imagine many other fans, will miss out on the early goodies because we don't trust the site yet or have had our fingers burnt in the past.
It really was easier to go down to the record store on the day of release and get the vinyl, cassette, and CD in one hit - happy days!!
Oh well, I'm hopeful it'll come good in the end.

I've had it with Prince. Really, this site is utter garbage and once I finally figured out how to download the stupid albums, I realized that when I import them into iTunes there's no album covers, no meta tags or ANYTHING on these tracks except the name and the promise of a Tour? I'll believe it when I see it, it seems like the only place he plays is LA and Europe. So I seriously doubt he'll come to DC or the East Coast anytime soon. I wish I could get a refund. I'm so disappointed, but not surprised at how shoddy this entire "experience," is. And how the heck does he expect people to magically know how to even sign up for the damn thing? I had to come here and troll the forums to get the "password" just to pay my $77. This is the ugliest, most unusable and unprofessional site I've ever seen. Everything on the site is obtuse, some freaking puzzle you have to solve. Why does he make it so damn difficult to remain a fan? That you have to really work to continue to like and support him. I'm done, finished, I'll still go to any show I can (maybe - but I will no longer jump through hoops or pay $400 or 500 for a tix) but as far as his other BS, forget it. But it's too late to make a stand since I paid the $77 for essentially NOTHING!

Does anyone know where or what I should click on to access the "vault of vintage purple video goodness" that is supposed to be on the site according to their 12:19am email blast? For all the pre-hype this 'pretty' looking flash site doesn't function very well. So far I'm disappointed in the website.

You get the purple ticket up on the screen and you'll see it's got 2 white boxes on it. In the first one, type in "1986", then tab down to the second one and type in "los angeles," and you should then get a page come up with the album covers on it. Hit "continue" and the subscription/personal details page up.
Hope this helps - happy hunting!

It's in the LotusFlow3r galaxy, you click on Prince's face and you enter a vortex of videos and images. Including Creep, the Leno performances, The Sacrifice of Victor, The Brit Awards, loads and loads of videos including Little Red Corvette, Te Amo Curazon, Somewhere Here on Earth, etc. I've spent over an hour on this section... great when it works!

I figured out why it works better on my Mac than PC - more RAM helps with the videos. I have 2GB of RAM in that and it's solved the choppy videos problem.

If you get it to work, you'll love it, if not then yes, until they make it work for you it's an unfulfilling xperience.

If Prince was an unknown artist and he pulled this shit hed get nowhere. The only reason he gets away with this is because hes well known and his fans are willing to put up with it. Heres what he should do with his website :

- Make some of the songs on the albums freely available to download

- Put some videos there for anyone to be able to instantly watch

- Not exclude anyone

Anyone should be able to go to the site and read reviews, listen to songs, download some of them, and get something out of it. Then they can decide what to do next (ie buy the albums). This is a really dumb way to do business, forcing people to make such commitments.

The message that i get from this website is "Im your god, and if you truly worship me youll jump through all these hoops, wait ages for my site to finally start and then youll spend money to get anything from it". Its really selfish how at first you could hear 3 songs (whoopee) because it suited him, as he wanted to pull people in, and now he taken that away a la "fuck you, now pay". What a bastard.

Nice music though. Bastard.

The whole getting in experience was a breeze for me.I have a Mac too, but I don't know if that's why. My album downloads were easy, I've watched alot of the videos, I'm really enjoying the site so far. The missing album covers annoyed me but I just copied and pasted and that was that.

Yeah, I had to come here to find out how to sign up. I had watched the video and listened to the boombox and still couldn't figure it out. I was sleepy last night.. wink

Then, I couldn't get any of my username choices to work in IE and came back here to find that it would work with Firefox. Didn't the developers test this thing before launching? Don't they know that probably 90% of PC users use IE? Well anyway, thanks to you guys and gals for providing the info here.

I've listened to all three albums so is anybody ready to discuss the music yet? cool

S3V3N

CORRECTION and APOLOGY (to P.)

I had some trouble signing up and was wary about joining. This morning I tried again and things went smooth. Made it into the site and found the tracks.

I'm glad I signed up. The 'experience' has some software responsiveness issues but the art is great/very classic iconic for a Prince 'era'.

The music is first-rate. I didn't like anything that was put out in the 90's. The 00's have been by-the-track for me (F.U.N.K., The One U Wanna C).

MPLSound has the jams.

LotusFlow3r is more coherent (less 'abstract') than has been reported.

Glad I signed up. Looking forward to more! Welcome back (to my home audio system) Prince!!!!

Check the sticky threads in this forum. They should cover how to deal with the files. Although not it correctly downloads as a .zip file. At least for me.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

I so wish I could understand what everyones problem is. I'm sure people get a kick out of complaining when Prince brings out anything. I just don't get it!!!

The site is everything that we were led to believe it would be - we haven't been lead astray! I tried to avoid all the comments before I had experienced it myself and I love the whole experience. The site looks wicked and i love the little puzzle to get into the site. That part will probably be taken off in time to encourage others to sign up but it was a good challenge for those wanting tickets! I'm using a mac and haven't had one technical difficulty at all. Apart from the fact that I shut the window too early before my credit details logged but thats my fault lol Didn't matter because it still worked!

The lotusflow3r album music is some of the best music he has released in years and years!! Not so keen on Bria's album but not all this music can be to everyones taste. That's kind of the point though ain't it!?

I think everyone need to chill and just enjoy it!
