I'm sure you are not the only one. I burned most of the tracks I purchased to CD and the ones that I didn't get around too I can still listen to on my Rio Carbon mp3 player, so I don't get all heated about the NPGMC closing. Just out of interest how did you transfer the licences. I also got a new PC in early 2007 and thought I had worked it all out in my head but despite transferring the old licence folder to the same location on my new computer I still could not get the files to work on my new PC (it would be nice if I could still watch the wmv files etc). I was annoyed with myself for messing up. I had even installed a Fairuse DRMfree program to bypass the DRM and create licence free files but cos I was so confident it would work OK by just moving the folders, I neglected to use it first 
[Edited 3/20/09 5:27am] I had everything on a external hard drive and when i wanted to see some of the vids i just copied it back and then "used" the license. I think it was as simple as clicking on the backed up license file and it opened it in media player and said that had updated my license. I am not a computer genius so that is why it is a surprise to me that the files are still working for me and not for others. Just good luck and being obsessive with backing up my Prince stuff i guess. | |

I am pretty sure the fans that got to go to Prince's house, and previewed the new site, said that they did it on Macs. I think we are good to go. P.S. What to do, what to do??? I'm so confussed. $77 and eat oddles of noodles and hope that Prince makes it to DC and it pays off because I got great concert tickets or not. Dang it $77 id steep in my opinion. 1. Because I am old school and don't even know how to download music then burn it to CD so I'm going to be at Target on the 29th buying that CD anyways. 2.
