It's not working for me now (WAV) won't download, just keeps getting stuck on the "getting information" part. Stuck on 0%.

For the most part, that has been the situation ever since Bart has been online. He's VERY knowledgeable about all things Prince, but is so left-brained, that it makes him nuts when someone who is totally right-brained does the crazy things they do.

How many frikking times do I have to say it: THERE IS NO SECURITY. If you've got a download link, that link will work until they remove the file, simple as that. All I did was open up Free Download Manager, looked up the link in the History, and told FDM to re-download it. Et voila. Took me all of ten seconds, no need to log into that hideously crap site.

Got it! Tried about 12:15pm CST and got a bad server info message. Immediately retried it and left it while I went back to work. Extracted it all just now and it all seems good. The zip file is 465.3 MB.

In shorter words: YOU may need to log in to that horrible piece of crap and navigate to the proper section to check whether a download is fixed, I simply need to tell my DL manager to re-check a link. Now read what you initially wrote, and then compare to what I have to do. And the fact that there is no security is very important, because it allows me to DL that zip without logging into the site.

maybe it's true that some of his latest work is not really good (like planet earth and musicology), but you have to say that 3121 and now the 2 new cd's are in fact very good. and live he's still the bomb (proven by "indigo nights" and "it ain't over" and watched him live in london). he releases so much stuff that it's almost impossible to hit the jackpot every time. i'm a long time fan, one of the first members of the NPGMC back in 2001 and I still think it's worthwile. we are just impatiented sometimes that everytime he releases something new that doesn't work from the very first second we think we have the right to criticize everything he does. the NPGMC art first wasn't a big deal either, but look what it turned out to be, a treasury of new unreleased material. we will get the same with this new site. just wait and see.
