Don't know how or why but I GOT MINE 2DAY! I think a neighbour got it (why I have no idea).. anyway, am listening now. Slightly pissed as my box is a bit battered . . hasn't been shipped in a jiffy bag, just a normal fed ex envelope... should I complain? I would never have purchased one in this state from the shop. .

You could at least bring it to the attention of BOTH the NPGMC and gage.com and politely ask if they can replace your copy.
Else you can complain to the transporter (FedEx? UPS?...) first and see what they'll do. If they say that the packaging was insufficient you have somethign 'against' NPGMC.

I have sent npg@gage.com an email to ask is I can exchange but I have the feeling it'll be a no. Other members weren't allowed to return or exchange retail goods off the NPGMC website. . I just might have a grudge against them if that is the case. Does everyone else have a perfect box?

I am going to wait and see what the response from them first and then have a think on my actions. I just think they could have taken better care. I'm just not sure where to voice my complaint. Fed Ex for poor choice of envelope or would it be what NPGMC pay that determines what packaging they use? . . .

It's just annoying because for years I have stood in the box sets part in HMV and longed for a Prince one to be up there for me to buy. Now it will be and my one which I paid good money for is in crap condition. Am I being really anal?

Monday 9th Dec. Still no ONAL in Bucks. Where has it gone? Do Fed Ex use track and trace or something? Want to know where my CDs are!!

YES!!! I got mine (as promised by Fed Ex!) at 11 am this morning in SE London!!! The box is a bit damaged due 2 only being packed in a regular envelope with no bubble-pop that U just love 2 pop, but whatever, I'm all about the music!

First impressions... great first 2 CD's, I'm just listening 2 the second one now. Strange choice of some of the versions (For instance 1+1+1=3) and I would have liked 2 hear more of the crowd background noise. I was scared that Prince would overproduce this and spoil the essence of a live show and lose some of the raw energy that is so hard 2 capture on2 CD. Not a bad job overall though! Just call me Mr Happy

I did however only recieve one copy of the regular ONA Piano album and am not able 2 "let my friend play my xtra piano" cuz I don't have one. Oh well. How many copies does one fam need? Woulda been a nice bonus cuz my brother would have really appreciated it. I'll have 2 burn him a copy.


I think I'll be slightly peeved if the ONA Piano album is included in the retail release as I was under the impression that it was a members only CD. But on second thoughts, so what? I have my copy and that's all that matters! More power 2 Prince if more people can listen 2 it by buying the box set in the shops.

Hi all i just got my box set 2 day and im in a town near Belfast in Northern Ireland. I was at work when my wife rang 2 say it had arrived so i nipped home and got it! I have been listening 2 it all day and its amazing! The actual packaging is fantastic, a very funky tour book thing with loads of fam comments and comments from the npg. When i put it on in work it was like the concert all over again! Prince isnt truly free as an artist untill he is playing live and with this box set u get the best of Prince and his sheer musical genuis! I love this album, i love the club, i love Prince...hell i love yall!!!

My FEDEX card arrived today...won't get a chance to pick it up til saturday though...

I got my box set today and I'm just about to start listening to it. I wasn't expecting it as I haven't received an e-mail from NPGMC (but then I was a bit rude to them recently) and the status of my order was still showing as In Progress yesterday. The club site is down, so I can't check the status today.

Included in the box is my second copy of the piano cd. Wonder if I'll get anything for it on e-bay ? Is the box set in the shops as yet ?

Thanks Soapstone, turns out the FEDEX warehouse is open 24hrs, so I'm off after work in 45 mins!! Then I'll load up my multidisc cd player in the car with the 3 discs and take the long way home!

Just imagine me in the FEDEX car park tearing the package open, pieces of packaging flying about in the air...
