Why "One Nite Alone LIVE" should go to retail FIRST!

It SHOULD and it WILL!

a) NPGMC has 15,000 members. MORE than 15,000 of the general public are gonna buy it during the holiday season=MORE SALES.After CHRIST-mess? Everyone's broke!

b) NPGMC members are ALREADY sold to, no need to cater to them; the 3 cd's complete the obligation to them anyway.

c) a great LIVE album reviewed and publisized is worth more than catering to the converted (or is that CON-verted?)

d) ONA-LIVE is a better advertizment for NPGMC than catering good customer service to the whiners who are members and are NEVER satisfied!

e) the distributing label doesn't want stacks of ONA LIVE clogging up their warehouses-sell that inventory! Damn the NPGMC members anyway.

ONA-LIVE WILL be in shops before many doorsteps, because it makes more sense financially and for publicity than catering to the complainers who harass NPGMC with whiny e-mails about cd's like "Madrid 2 Chicago" that don't exist. Hey, it was done with CRYSTAL BALL!

You are getting your 4 cd's
You got concert perks.

Shut up and just be grateful

If ONA live hits retail first that shit better be $75 or I want the difference returned to me...

I've been quiet on the ONA Live threads but man, what kinda club ignores it's members for, what is it now, five months...

And now the number one reason why One Nite Alone...Live! should go to retail first:

So pimpytheclown can do his naked "I told you so" victory dance around the dining room table.

Yes we got some concert perks, but we did pay extra for them.

Yes a 3CD set would technically fulfill a 4CD membership, but it is not really in the spirit of the advertised membership is it.

Anyway, let's all wait until the year has ended before we rant too much.
RIP sad

Everyone who ordered CHRYSTALL BALL (hey f*ckwad, it's CRYSTAL. it ain't a chrysler ball for christ's sake...see what that just was? that's called INTELLIGENCE) for $ 50 received:

--> CRYSTALL (yet another brilliant variation. this ain't about cristal, y'all...this ain't a puffy video) BALL [3 CDs]
--> 2 Free, exlusive new CDs (two??? ok, you mean crapasutra? fair enough, it hasn't been released elsewhere. although i think it did show up on npgonline a couple years back, but i could be wrong. no matter. but what's the 2nd "exclusive" cd you got? oh, you mean the truth?(a KICK-ASS album, by the way) - sorry, little boy, but everyone who bought it at blockbuster for $38 weeks before anyone got it in the mail, myself included, also got the truth. not eXACtly what some might classify as an "exclusive" cd.
--> A T-Shirt (whoop-de-freaking do. some people NEVER even got the disc at all. prince has never had one decent t-shirt as far as i'm concerned...though i'd love to have one of the old-school one's now to be all retro-stylin'...but one that says EYE LIKE FUNKY MUSIC? uh, i'll take a pass, thanks.

Am I talking to children? -no, yer just kinda stupid.

Whats funny about that is myself and countless other kiddies ordered the plastic hockey puck more than once and NPG Records which owned 1800NewFunk repeatedly lost our orders. That got him into alot of hot water. At least they had a support team on the other end with the honesty to tell me that there was a massive computer problem where they lost alot of the orders.

This way with his "club" he has more freedom to do what he wants (no middleman, no support) and can experiment in many clever new ways of avoiding bad-business entanglements with serious complaints and bad press by holding your money until the membership is over.

I'm very curious to start a serious inquiry (for those who love Prince and his music) about what may have been going through his head when he decided to make the members wait so long. It seems like a great business strategy to make more money (tipping my hat to him) but out of the pockets of his ever-shrinking cult fan base? ? Did something regarding bootlegs, downloads or the websites recently piss him off or something?

Prince has serious issues with the press & journalists
Prince has serious issues with record companies
Prince has serious issues with bootlegs & fansites
Prince has serious issues with radio & mtv
Prince has serious issues with contracts & distribution

Whats next?
