What a pro 
There's something about Prince playing live that just NEVER translates fully to a recorded album. It's such a shame really... I really think some of the best work of his career was done on stage. His current band is incredible too, but they don't really get a chance to shine on Planet Earth. His voice sounded a bit off during Joy in Repetition but the guitar work made up for it. | |

Ah yes, that is superb - the 3rd Aug. looked like a great show.
Went to 4 main shows and really wanted to hear Joy In Repetition, oh well great to be able to see it now. AnotherLover as well, superb version he played it in aftershow as well last night. | |

Its just a layered hair cut - the length is still there - its just all the shaky head movements makes it look shorter - when you see the shots from the side - the length is still at the back - just the way its been blow-dried (soz - used to work for a hairdressers - know all the tricks  )Nah nah na...Hold on to your wigs! | |

 Wow, what a terrific performance.  Thanks for sharing it with us, Prince. My thoughts after seeing the video:
* The audio on the video was much better than the one that Sky News had. The sound level for the video posted on 3121.com was consistent, it was not going up and down, like the Sky News one did. * The smoke on the stage at the beginning of "Joy in Repetition" reminded me of the Purple Rain tour, where Prince used the same technique. Very cool. * It was nice to see one of The Twinz actually do some actual dance moves, besides the stepping from side to side and twirling their hair, which seems to be their repertoire. * Prince looked and sounded great as usual, if not a bit tired. But he has every right to be, after performing 21 nights in London (not including all of the aftershows that he did). Hopefully Prince will get a much-needed rest, and will then hit the road for a U.S. tour. Pretty please, Prince.  RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |

Of course he sounded great, as usual, but did look tired, which is understandable. The audience looked bored and tired. And I'm tired of the backup dancers. That's just me, I guess. Why do people think he's sleeping with one or both of them just because of a stage act. So immature. | |
